Scott Williams, owner of Abstract & Title Co. of Mesa County, created Rocky Mountain Exchange in 1992 after multiple requests were made by area realtors to facilitate delayed exchanges. Scott had performed a number of simultaneous exchanges while managing an escrow branch in Santa Cruz, CA. He did some research and started attending seminars and quickly became the local authority on exchanges in Western Colorado.
